ma siamo sicuri che poi anche questo genere di soluzione non di a problemi di driver? Anche la chiavetta wireless sarebbe possibile ma ho paura di spendere inutilmente se poi mi da dei problemi di compatibilità

Pare che l'ethernet non ci sia proprio (ed è ben strano, la dice lunga sull'economia con cui è stato progettato).

Ottengo risultati solo sul bluetooth ma nulla sulla wireless, inoltre con il comando

Riporta il risultato di rfkill list - è poca roba - bluetooth e wifi derivano dalla stessa scheda.

Fai Impostazioni==>Bluetooth e alla finestra che si apre vedi se puoi visualizzare o accendere/spegnere o se indica qualche adattatore bluetooth.

Ho attivato il bluetooth ma nulla..... Comunque iwconfig dice no wireless extensions, ma su windows funziona....

Non fare salti, procediamo linearmente - il bluetooth funziona per cui ora ne tenti l'abbinamento con il tethering bluetooth dello smartphone.

È pur sempre una connessione ad internet e possiamo colloquiare meglio, installare cose, compilare se serve.

ho fatto tutti gli aggiornamenti eccetto quello del kernel (ora ho il 4.15 e potrei aggiornare al 4.18)

Anche ammesso di trovare i driver su github potrebbe essere difficile installarli. Come ti dicevo in un post precedente con il Kernel 4.19 è stato aggiunto il supporto a molti dispositivi (anche io avevo problemi con i driver del wifi...), potresti risolvere il problema nel più semplice dei modi.

E' assolutamente normale, il kernel 4.19 non è stato ancora incluso nel rilascio ufficiale. Per questo ti ho postato il link con la guida per farlo.

Io l'ho installato e lo uso regolarmente. Adesso ho il wifi che prima non funzionava.
