Proviamo a guardare un po' più in profondità, il comando

lo dai una volta col monitor connesso in DVI-HDMI
e una seconda volta col monitor connesso HDMI-HDMI

li posti entrambe indicando il tipo di connessione cui si riferiscono.

Portatile ASUS con Scheda madre X55C +i5-3210M -- 6 GB RAM ddr3 -- grafica intel.

Tutto regolare, il sistema vede perfettamente il monitor anche con DVI-HDMI.

Lo farò senz'altro, appena tornerò in Italia, perché nel frattempo sono di nuovo espatriato, ma non so se avverrà prima di Pasqua. Il monitor è l'Hp W2207H in firma.

Eccomi tornato in Italia per le ferie, alla fine del lockdown e relativo blocco dei voli.
Il problema è sempre quello dell'uscita DVI della scheda grafica che sembra non emettere segnale.
Questo è risultato collegato in DVI-HDMI, tramite adattatore DVI-HDMI e cavo HDMI-HDMI.
Grazie di nuovo a tutti per l'aiuto.
